We ordered furniture and upon delivering the couch we noticed not only was the couch damaged, but it was actually used with rice imbedded in the cushions rips cut wires, and per hair all over. It was disgusting. Hoffman Koos knowing tried to deceipt us. We rejected the furniture and spoke to manager that said it would be rectified. Upon the second delivery of the same set the couch was ripped and damaged and the bedroom set was damaged as well falling apart in your hands. We were promised a response and refund and restitution from corporate however corporate failed to respond. I it disgusting how Hoffman Koos has handled themselves. We have taken off of work twice and still have not furniture. Hoffman koos has failed to provide the furniture I was promised and failed to rectify again. I want a full refund.
When we went to their store and chose sofa, I asked the manager if it is 100% leather, he told me it is natuzzi )italian brand) 100% leather sofa. They delivered it to us 8/31/2016. 5areas of sofa are peeling. Leather do not peel. I call the store told them the situation, they said sofa is leather, but only where our body can touch. They did not mention this in store. They said the material is Natuzzi italian leather which I think is lie too. They are telling me once I sign the invoice the product is ours and they would not return the good. I was also told it is my mistake not seeing the damage before I sign. Acc to fed law a customer has ability to return goods until 3days. We received good today even though I paid it on 26th Aug. So i should have ability to return the good. We were supposed to take delivery in March 2016. We went in to the Farmingdale store and the sales manager ordered the correct color. He offered a loaner set. We politely declined, not wanting to waste any of your money. We did upgrade the leather and now your sales manager wants an extra $200 and change. We feel that since we are giving you over $6500 in business and saving you money by NOT taking a loaner set, you should waive the upgrade charge. No one wants to return my calls, not the sales manager nor anyone from corporate. Please do not make me demand a refund. Please get back to me.

In July 2014 from the Freehold store, we purchased a three piece leather living, coctail and end tables, lamps, an entertainment center and a bedroom set, with a two to three week delivery timeline. It has now been six months, we have had ten deliveries and still do not have all of the furniture. We have talked to the store manager Vic Akolic who promised to take care of everything, but he no longer works there. Numerous calls to Customer service where they offered a credit for the mirror, and on two different occasions I was told I was getting a $100 gift card. We still do not have everything, have heard nothing on the credit and nothing on gift certificates. On top of all this i have to listen to my husband who is really disgusted by the experience and this was the store I wanted to purchase from. I would really appreciate a litte assistance in getting everythng. Thank you.
I cannot believe the incompetence of the entire huffman koos staff; sales, managers, technicians, call center operators, etc. In the past three weeks I have spent numerous hours on the phone trying to get the piece of furniture that I bought, fixed. It was delivered defective with a hindge that holds the glass door, broken, one of the magnets has popped out and two wooden shelves were NEVER delivered. 732. 261. 7794.
We ordered a sectional and a cocktail table on Memorial Day in May 2015, We never got the cocktail table, We received the sectional at the end of July, the two recliners do not open properly and when they attached the three parts, the sections DO NOT ALIGN by three inches. We were told (in August) that we would receive a replacement sectional. We have Not received the Cocktail table, since May 2015.
